Fifth Avenue Doll

Saks Fifth Avenue, one of New York's famous, teamed up with the fashion industry's best crew to create a stunning editorial on designer pieces. Entitled Fifth Avenue Doll, the whole spread of amazing photos was done entirely inside a retail store.

It's a first (for me, that is) to see a concept like this- after-hours retail drama. The fashion brains behind this wanted to portray an eerie yet stylish scene on store racks and displays when the doors are already locked and the security alarms are on.

Full of drama elegance, I must say. I definitely love almost all of the pieces in this feature! Now why wouldn't I? They are the master crafts of Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Givenchy, Giorgio Armani, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Miu Miu, and so much more!
