Ugh the icky rain is back in the city! One of the weirdest facts about my life (specifically about my skin) is that certain spots on my arm and legs turn into dry patches when the weather changes - rain or shine! I understand if I get dry patches during summer, but during rainy weather? Really really odd.
I tried several remedies to make the dry spots go away, and none of them seemed to work. I even went to the dermatologist to have my skin checked and they gave me stuff that temporarily relieved my problem. After a few months, the dry patches 'got used' to the derma-recommended medication so I needed to find a new solution. A friend of mine recommended using her trusted brand, Nivea. I religiously used it and voila!! The dry patches are slowly fading away! From 5 dry spots, I only have 1 left! I can't wait until this annoying spot heals.
