Rejuvenation at Facial Care Centre
One of the things that I'm scared of is.. facial treatment! I survived puberty by washing my face with normal facial wash by day, and just water by night. I've had one facial treatment, but that was against my will. That was when I had a rash on my face, and the dermatologist did some dreadful procedure that made me not want to do any hulabaloo on my face anymore.

Kring and I are very excited for this one! We've been planning this a few months back, and finally it's pushing through!

Red Hair Attempt #2
I took a trip uptown to Podium and gave my hair another revamp. I had my fingers crossed the whole time when I was driving going to the salon, because the first attempt for my hair to turn red was a half-baked fail. I left my hair's fate to Miguel of Hairshaft, who is also Kring's stylist!
Miguel plopped me down on a comfy seat, asked me what I wanted, and went down to business. He first snipped some parts of my hair. He was actually cool; he gave inputs on what style best fits my face and character (MEGANON!!). We ended up having a shorter length on the right than on the left, and a reaaaally short bob at the back. Shorter than the bob that I always have.
After the cut, Miguel and his assistant started applying the two levels of bleach on my hair. I was shaking like a soaking wet duck.

Red Hair Attempt #1
I've been dying to turn my hair from light brown to flaming red after I watched Rihanna's Cheers (Drink To That) video. It looked amazing on her, so I thought it might look awesomesauce with cheese on me.
After a few weeks or so, I was tiptoe-ing around the idea of dyeing my hair and shaving the bottom part off (yes, exactly like RiRi's). My friends have been pushing me my butt to the edge to do it and silly skinny me, I gave in... but only to the red hair part!!

Miss Universe 2011 Evening Gown Picks
Today's one of those days that you're having a ball since there's minimal or zero traffic on major roads. Everyone's in front of the TV because it's the super bowl of the girls and pa-girls - MISS UNIVERSE 2011!
I'm one of those who consistently watches the pageant every year. I always get amazed about the faces and the gowns! It's like Lookbook on TV. Plus, the pageant gets really exciting every time because of the rise of social media. Even if you're not watching it live, you'll know what's happening because of the play-by-play on Twitter and Facebook. Oh, social media. I love you dearly.
Anyways, here are the evening gowns that were showcased by the pretty contestants that caught my fish-like attention:

We all know that time flies when you're having fun. I guess I need to have moooore fun so that November 17 will come very soon! Versace and H&M have been sweating so much fashion ideas just to put a great collab out in the market. Here's a little peek of what's in store for shoppers on the 17th of November:
Obviously it's a jumpsuit with six different Japanese prints all over the fabric. The earrings look fab, but also seem heavy for my earlobes. I can't say if I would give a thumbs up for this piece or not, but I'm pretty excited to see the whole collab collection!

It's Raining Nivea!
Ugh the icky rain is back in the city! One of the weirdest facts about my life (specifically about my skin) is that certain spots on my arm and legs turn into dry patches when the weather changes - rain or shine! I understand if I get dry patches during summer, but during rainy weather? Really really odd.
I tried several remedies to make the dry spots go away, and none of them seemed to work. I even went to the dermatologist to have my skin checked and they gave me stuff that temporarily relieved my problem. After a few months, the dry patches 'got used' to the derma-recommended medication so I needed to find a new solution. A friend of mine recommended using her trusted brand, Nivea. I religiously used it and voila!! The dry patches are slowly fading away! From 5 dry spots, I only have 1 left! I can't wait until this annoying spot heals.
I am sooooo in love with Nivea's lotion! I can't believe it actually works. Since I am so amazed with what Nivea products can do, I'm sharing a few items for you to try!

Charlotte Olympia F/W 2011 is TDF
High heels and platform pumps make me squeee like a little girl receiving a shiny box full of Lisa Frank stickers. (I know you also went gaga over them when you still had pigtails on!) All the heeled shoes that I wear have platforms, or else they just don't make the cut. I think my feet was "designed" to wear platform heels, because if I wear ones without platform, my feet will throw tantrums and not walk properly in less than 10 minutes. TRUE STORY. Good thing that my feet love platform heels, because my eyes do too! I believe that platform heels give that extra G to the O-M in every outfit reaction. Yes yes, right?

Soften Up with Nivea Express Hydration
When I was a little mutt (with unruly hair and overalls), my mom would patiently apply lotion on me after every bath to keep my skin healthy. I would notice that every time she puts lotion on me, she brings out this royal blue tin can. She never got tired of using this on me and I kind of adapted the routine until now.
